Brandsness Brandsness & Rudd, P.C. has historically been involved in the representation of parties concerning construction issues and claims. In the summer of 1969 we assisted in the creation of the Klamath Basin Home Builders Association and have been involved in variety of services to individuals and entities in the construction industry concerning both commercial and residential construction law and public contracting. Modern day construction law requires the use of unique multiple sets of relationships that utilize construction specialists for a highly efficient and superior end product. These contractual relationships of need definition and at times are subject to breach. Our services include:
- Negotiation, drafting and evaluation of design and engineering contracts, construction contracts, sub-contracts, purchase orders, bid proposals, and performance bonds
- Preparation and filing of lien notices, foreclosure of construction liens and prosecution and defense of construction lien, bond claims, and collection of payment
- Representation of clients in filing claims with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board, claims before the CCB and hearings on CCB issues
- Representation of contractors and property owners in relation to preparation of construction loan documents, loan negotiations and loan collections
- Representation of clients in resolution or foreclosure of construction liens and prosecution and defense of construction lien and bond claims
- Representation of contractors and subcontractors concerning issues of employment and general business services specifically addressing the needs of the construction industry
